2004 Christmas Results

Congratulations to the Centre in the Square, beneficiary of the Kitchener-Waterloo On Board game, who sold out their entire 4,500 game inventory before Christmas. Lethbridge On Board also sold out, benefiting Junior Achievement in Alberta.

Other games that were launched pre-Christmas 2004 were; Guelph On Board; Saskatoon On Board; St. Catharines On Board; Kingston On Board; Kelowna On Board; Cape Breton On Board; and Vaughan On Board. HOB would also like to congratulate Impact On Education (formerly The Foundation For Boulder Valley Schools) for launching Boulder On Board. This was our first launch in the United States with several more scheduled for spring and fall 2005.

Many of the results in terms of net proceeds are in the process of final calculation. We anticipate that the fall launches will realize an average of $100,000 net proceeds upon completion. Congratulations to all of our partners!

I luv My Community

HOB is thrilled to be piloting their newest fundraising platform in North Bay, Ontario – where the “On Board” program was conceived. I LUV is a virtual tour web site that showcases your community with a twist. Live narration by a locally well known personality, walks you through the highlights of your home town. The poster-card campaign allows you to invite your friends and family to visit, boosting tourism and hometown pride. To see how this model can benefit your organization, please visit www.iluvmycommunity.org  For more information on how you can apply, please contact HOB.
